Repent, and believe in the gospel

Dear Friends

Today, we are reminded o fJesus' powerful call to "Repent, and believe in the gospel." These words encapsulate the essence of our Christian journey--a continuous turning toward God and a whole-hearted trust in the good news of His salvation.

Repentance is not just about acknowledging our shortcomings; it's a trans formative turning away from sin and a turning towards God's redeeming love. As we repent, we open ourselves to the profound grace that flows from the gospel--the message of God's love, forgiveness, and the invitation to abundant life in Christ.

Let this call from Jesus echo in our heats today, prompting a renewed commitment to living lives that reflect the trans-formative power of the gospel. May we, as a community, embrace repentance and a steadfast belief in the good news, allowing it to shape our thought, actions, and relationship.

May our shared worship be a time of reflection, renewal, and re-commitment to the path of discipleship that Jesus calls us to follow.

In His Steadfast,

Fr. Matt Humerickhouse
