Who is my neighbor?

In our bustling lives, it's easy to lose sight of a fundamental question: "Who is my neighbor?". This simple yet profound question lies at the heart of our faith. It calls us to recognize that our neighbor is not just the person living next door, but every soul we encounter in this shared human journey.

Our neighbor may be the stranger we meet on the street, the co-worker sitting beside us, the family at the grocery store, of the friend we haven't seen in years. They are the faces we interact with daily and the ones we've yet to meet. Ou neighbor is diverse in culture, belief, and background, yet united by our shared humanity.

As we contemplate the answer to "Who is my neighbor"?, let us recall the words of Jesus in the parable of the Good Samaritan. Our neighbor is anyone in need, regardless of their background or circumstances. It is a call to compassion, kindness, and selfless love.

May we open our hearts to see the neighbors in our midst and beyond, and may our actions reflect the boundless love of our Savior

In Christ,
