Dear Friends in Christ
Today, as we celebrate the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord, we are reminded of our ultimate hope beyond this earthly life. Just as Jesus ascended to heaven, we look forward to a place beyond life and death, sickness and suffering, sin and imperfection, hate and evil.
Our hearts long for the eternal home where we will experience the fullness of joy and peace in God's presence. As we journey on this earth, let us keep our focus on our heavenly destination, trusting in Christs promise to prepare a place for us.
May the grace of the Ascension strengthen us and fill us with joyful anticipation for the day when we will dwell forever in the presence of our loving God.
